The set consists a pair of flexible anklets with a unique design built in. When the nylon sleeve is slipped into place it securely holds the anklet in position and the falcon can be flown without any Jesse's. There is no risk of losing the anklet when the falcon makes contact with its quarry.

Its a new composite material made from silicon,
nylon, carbon and other materials. The anklet`s come preshaped as there cad designed and printed on a SIS printer (selective laser sintering) printer which cost 100,000. Not mine I hasten to add. I still make the older type leather anklets, but this new composite material allows me to make a massive new step forward. The advantages are numerous in the application of making anklets for birds of prey for there use in falconry.
This material does not stretch or shrink, it is totally waterproof, light weight and strong. Also the material is soft and flexible. We have been testing the anklets now for the last six months on all types of falcons and hawks without a single negative from all the different falconers that have been using them.
Also in the USA and as far a field as Australia. They have been fitted to female and male peregrines, female and male gyr falcons, barbery falcons, lanner falcons and various hybrid`s of the falcon species. American and european kestrels, female and male harris hawks, female and male goshawks and redtailed hawks currently on test. We are currently testing them on the owl species, we have them all ready on barn owls and tawny owls and the smaller vultures. For now the bonellis eagle will be the largest size.
The ones that have been on test for the last six months show no signs of wear at all. These are on Female Gyr falcons 2023 young birds and also on a hunting female Bonellis Eagle. Some think they will last at least 3 seasons, other think maybe 5 or more. We have to see. These are more expensive than the leather ones but in the long term we think they will work out to be a lot cheaper with a lot more added benefits. One great advantage of using this material is the tollerances
I can work with. Sizes will start from 4mm internal diameter going up in increments of 1mm up to size 18mm. These will be available using 4 sleeve sizes. For example size 6 Micro Falcons, size 5 small Falcons, size 4 medium to large falcons and size 3 medium to large hawks. So a real custom fit can be obtained for each individual bird. The anklet when fitted to the bird should be allowed to rotate freely around the leg. If the anklet does not rotate freely than it should be exchanged for the next available larger size.
Check out this great video

The anklets have been on 6 months, the Flexi Slipons are superb. No marks, no shrinking, no stretching. The only down side for Tom is, they could last for years and years. These are the best thing for birds feet, thats ever been on the market and I`ll never use leather again.
I received a jesses from the great craftsman, and great innovator, Thomas Carnihan for this pilgrim. And I wanted to make this video so that falconers can see how Kaiser jesses are used, which really is a very ingenious, practical and reliable system. I was pleasantly surprised. My congratulations, Thomas. These jesses will be carried by many falcons, Harris and goshawks around the world
I have to say these are brilliant, easy to use and fit ,
