The supplied braided mews jesses have been specifically designed to work with the nylon sleeve and flexi anklets
No warranties will be given if normal braided mews jesses are used!!
The sleeve which holds the anklets in place has been designed not to move and if normal braided mews jesses are used movement in the sleeve can cause the flexible anklet to wear very quickly . The button end of the mews jesses has been designed to be wider at the top so as not to allow any movement to the sleeve .. normal 2/3 mm braided jesses can allow movement on the sleeve. My own design of braided mews jesses is 5/6 mm thicker at the top as it passes into the anklet via the sleeve but still allowing the jess to turn freely but not to allow any movement in the sleeve. See photo's which illustrate why it is important not to use ordinary 2/3 mm braided jesses.
